With a lovely climate, and beautiful nature, Greece is a fantastic place to go camping. It is also the most low impact type of tourism. Instead of natural sites being bulldozed for tourist accommodation, they remain and become the place where tents are pitched in amongst the trees. If you are flying to Greece and would prefer not to have to carry a tent, many campsites have permanent tents to rent, as well as yurts, small cabins and camping pods.
