Mykonos is a Greek island (33 square miles / 85 square kilometres) that is part of the Cyclades archipelago. It is located in the Aegean Sea, and is known for its sandy beaches, historic windmills, and nightlife. In recent decades it has became known as one of the most gay-friendly travel destinations.
The Windmills of Mykonos: These traditional Mykonian windmills are some of the most photographed spots on the island. Situated on a hill above the town, the windmills offer panoramic views of the Aegean Sea.
Little Venice: This picturesque spot is renowned for its charming buildings with colourful shutters that line the waterfront. Sit and enjoy a coffee or a meal while admiring the lovely views of the sea.

Mykonos Town: The island’s capital is a lively and vibrant place, with a beautiful harbour, winding streets lined with shops and restaurants, and plenty of nightlife.
The Beaches of Mykonos: Mykonos is home to some of the best beaches in Greece, with crystal-clear waters and gorgeous sandy beaches. Popular spots include Paradise Beach, Super Paradise Beach, and Elia Beach.
Delos: This small island just off the coast of Mykonos is considered to be the birthplace of the god Apollo. Today, it is an archaeological site of great importance, with many well-preserved ruins.
Rineia: This uninhabited island is a beautiful place for a hike, with amazing views of the nearby islands.
Cooking classes: The island has a great reputation for fine dining, and natural produce. Look out for cooking classes from top chefs, or at farm estates on the island, where you can learn to cook a delicious,traditional Greek recipe.
Agios Sostis Beach: This secluded beach is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the incredible views. It can only be reached by boat, making it a truly special place.
The Island of Tinos: Just a short ferry ride from Mykonos, the island of Tinos is worth a visit for its beautiful beaches, traditional villages, and historic Orthodox churches.
