Navagio Beach

Tsilivi Beach
Tsilivi Beach is a great choice for families as it has a shallow, sandy seabed perfect for little ones to paddle in. There are also plenty of sun loungers and parasols for adults to relax on, and plenty of watersports to enjoy. It is on the east of the island, 7 km from Zante Town. Alykes Beach
Alykes Beach is one of the busiest on the island. The beach is also a great spot for watersports, swimming, and sunbathing. There is beach bars and restaurants near the beach. The sea is shallow, suitable for young children.
Kalamaki Beach
Kalamaki Beach is a secluded spot at the southern end of the island. It's a great place to relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the surroundings. The beach is long and sandy, with some shops for snacks nearby. It is possible to walk along the beach all the way to Laganas. if you like planes, then this a great beach to watch low flying planes arrive and take off from the nearby airport.
Laganas Beach
Laganas Beach is the busiest and most lively beach on the island. It's the perfect spot for party-goers and those who want to enjoy the island's nightlife. There are boat tours of the nearby caves, and turtle watching.
Argassi Beach
Argassi Beach is a great choice for those who want to be close to the action but not in the middle of it. The narrow beach is just a short walk from the bars and clubs of Laganas but is much quieter and more relaxed. There is a childrens' play area near the beach.
Porto Roma
Porto Roma is a beautiful sheltered bay with a narrow sandy beach. It's the perfect place to swim, sunbathe and enjoy the gorgeous views. There is a couple of tavernas near the beach for snacks and drinks.

Vasilikos Beach is a secluded beach at the eastern end of the island. It's a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas and enjoy some peace and quiet. There is a beach bar, and sun loungers to hire.
Zakynthos Town / Zante Town
The capital of the island, with a population of approximately 16,000, Zakynthos town, also known as Zante Town, has loads of bars, restaurants, and nighclubs, as well as many gift shops for visitors. The town is right on the seafront, and has a harbour and a pebble beach. The church of Agios Nikolas Tou Molou, dates from 1561, and is one of the oldest buildings on the island, after many were destroyed by a large earthquake in the 1950s. About 2 km from the centre is Bochali Hill, with a village, and the ruins of a Venetian castle at the top. After walking up the hill through a pine forest, you reach the top and can enjoy fantastic views over the town and the Ionian Sea.
